• When is the library opened?
• The library is opened Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:50 pm.
• Who can use the library?
• Anyone that needs to consult our material may do so in our establishment. Loans are made only to our members.
• �How much does it cost to access to the library?
• Access is free.
• Who can become member?
• Any agent, professional, technician and administrative personnel of CNEA, along with teachers and students of the Instituto Balseiro.We also have agreements with INVAP and the Comahue University.
• How can I join the library?
• You must print the form found in THE LIBRARY >  HOW CAN I JOIN, fill it out, have it signed by a division head and bring to the library in person. We will enter your information to our system, register your finger print and take your picture. We do not use library cards, we identify our members by their finger prints.
• What information can I find in the library's catalog?
• We have 2 principal catalogs, LIBROS (BOOKS) and REVISTAS (JOURNALS). In each one,you can find complete bibliographic records of the following subjects: Mathematics,physics, chemistry, nuclear engineering, among others, you can perform advanced searches and also find out if a book has been loaned.
• How long are the loan periods?
• Loans for regular members are for 2 months, for visitors 1 week, permanent loans are for a year and student loans are for 4 months.
• What information do I have to write down when looking in the web catalog?
• You must write down the location number (ubicacion).
  example.: 532 W583 Ej.1 ; 621.039.54:061.3 T624 1979
  With this number you can look for the book on the library shelves. If the word PRESTADO is next to the location number, this means that this copy is not available. If you do not find the book, please seek assistance from library staff.
• What do I do if I need a journal article that the library doesn't have?
• Our library is a member of different networks and consortiums along with other national and international libraries. Through these contacts, we can obtain the articles that are requested. The request must be made by filling out the request form in SERVICES > REQUEST FORM. This service is free of charge.
